Late inning action from softball game between the Pearls and Titans at Central Maui Regional Sports Center. Due to COVID-restrictions, shooting conditions were challenging as non-participants were not allowed near the field and I had to shoot from an upper level parking lot. As a sports photographer, I prefer photos with faces, close to the action and shot from as low as possible. Those types of shots are best taken from behind home plate and down the 3rd base line. However, due to COVID, I have to respect the restrictions in place which allow these student-athletes to play.
