So disappointing . . . took time off from work so that I could shoot Lahainaluna tennis at the MIL qualifying tournament in Royal Lahaina and then head back to Wailuku to get shots of the Lahainaluna track & field athletes competing in the early events that I've missed all season (discus, long jump, high jump, pole vault, 100m dash, 4x100). However, when I arrived at the stadium, I was surprised to see members of the team waiting outside the stadium. The final regular track meet of the MIL season was cancelled because the powers-that-be decided to fertilize the field with manure. Of all days, they fertilize the field on the day the facility is actually used. SMH. What a waste of everyone's time! [Nikon D7500, Nikon 17-55mm f/2.8]
