By the time I arrived in Lahaina for softball after shooting the first 3 innings of Lahainaluna's baseball playoff against King Kekaulike in Wailuku, the game was tied 4-4 in the 5th inning. The Lady Lunas exploded for 6 runs over the next two innings, sparked by their seniors Liahona Kaniho and Aubrey Haake-McCarthy. Their defense also tightened up, with Kahea making a tough catch of a hard hit ball to right field to end the game. Lady Lunas win 10-5!
