Shots from the 50th David Malo Day Ho’olaulea on Boarders’ Field at Lahainaluna High School. This album features: “Namolokama” (feat. Senior boarders and Hawaiiana Club boys); Bridging the Past to the Future – “Mokihana Lullaby” (feat. Aunty Lori Gomez-Karinen), “Ka Ua Loku”. The evening ended in song as former boarders, Hawaiiana club alumni joined the entire cast on the stage, along with members of Lahainaluna Class Reunions from 1959, 1960, 1962, 1969, 1970, 1974 (and a few reunion crashers from 1989) to sing “Oiwe E,” “The Prayer” (arranged by Michael Nakano), “O Kou Aloha,” “Alma Mater” and “Hawaii Aloha.”
