I had the privilege of doing some event photography at the Lahainaluna Faculty Gala Night at the Lahainaluna cafeteria. It was a special dining event celebrating the staff and faculty at Lahainaluna that was put together by various programs at the school - Academy of Hospitality & Tourism (AOHT)(Craig Wise), Building & Construction (Jeremy Delos Reyes), Culinary CTE Program (Colin Delos Reyes), Industrial Engineering & Technology CTE Pathway (Tad Luckey), Lahainaluna Music Department (Myron & Jayme Carlos) along with local businesses like the Ritz Carlton Kapalua and Monkeypod Kitchen Kaanapali. Faculty and guests were treated to a four-course dinner prepared by the culinary program and served by members of the AOHT program. The band provided entertainment, followed by a trio of Boarder Men. Awards (hand-crafted wooden trophies) designed and created by the Industrial Engineering and the Building/Construction students, were given out to deserving faculty under fun categories like "Mr. Aloha", "Mrs. Aloha", "Most Likely to Go Happy Hour", "Most Likely to use Personal/Sick Days", "Most Likely to Know All the Dirt on Campus," "Best Bromance," "Most Likely to Be Late to School" etc. Good fun times with great people. And congrats to Mr. Sims on a well-deserved retirement!
