This was a comeback for the ages! I finished work in Wailuku and rushed down to the Patsy Mink Field. By the time I got there, the Lunas were already down 0-4 against Baldwin. Baldwin pitcher Aliyah Harmon was virtually unhittable. Both defenses were making spectacular plays. Lunas' pitcher Seraya Casco courageously pitched in and out of trouble for the next 6 innings, keeping Baldwin from scoring more runs and keeping the game within striking distance. As has been their M.O. all season - the Lady Lunas have had several games where they fell behind late and broke games open in the later innings - the Lady Lunas rallied for 5 runs with 2 out in the bottom of the 7th to pull out the 5-4 win for the championship.
