The Lunas' hopes to make to the HHSAA tournament were dashed by another 5 set match from Maui High. Lunas got themselves down 0-2 (21-25, 14-25) before rallying to win the next two sets, 25-19, 25-16. Ultimately, Maui High was too much to handle in the 5th and deciding set, with the Lunas losing 8-15.
