Classic Lunas-Bears defensive battle saw the teams tied 0-0 entering the fourth quarter. The Lunas finally broke the scoreless tie with a 28 yard field goal by #9 Kapono Panetta after the Lunas allowed the 3rd quarter to end on 3rd down, enabling them to kick with the wind on 4th down after the change of field to start the 4th quarter. The team collectively stepped up on offense and defense, including some incredible catches by #14 Ivanhoe Mathias and #22 Matthew Rabino, including a crucial interception by Mathias. #36 Roger Nifon scored a touchdown to add some cushion to the lead. Lunas held on to win, 9-0.
