In the Boys Doubles championship, Max Linder/Jarret Pascual lost to Ethan Gazmen/Will Summers (BAL) 7-6(0), 7-6(5). Kennedy Makekau/Radon Sinenci took 3rd place with a 6-1, 7-5 win over Jaymes Christopher/Alec Fonseca (MHS). In Girls Doubles, Joanna Aceret/Shania Abut lost the championship match to Sarah Ikioka/Kylee Kato (KSM) 6-0, 6-0. Jamie Fujii/Ruby O'Donnell lost to Kayla Bisquera/Molly Murai (BAL) 0-8. In Girls Singles, Nicole Aceret took 3rd place with a 6-2, 6-3 win over Jessica Pressman (BAL). Kiana Bell ended her MIL season on a winning note, defeating Lino Yoshikawa (MHS) 8-0. Despite the Lunas falling short of their individual championship aspirations, these kids had a tremendous year! Good luck to the Lunas who qualified for the HHSAA tournament!
