I've edited and posted photos from this game before, but I wanted to re-visit and update the selections (I think I only posted 24 shots from this game). So here are some never-before-seen shots. Shot down on the field, so my shots were much better than what I got before when shooting from the stands. Still using my crap kit lens. Still getting the hang of shooting action - getting in the right positions, anticipating plays, acquiring focus, etc. I was an outsider back then, so I kept my distance from the team on the sidelines.

After 10 years, it is amazing to see what the field conditions looked like before the Lahainaluna Foundation, Dennis Harmon (architect) and Sue Cooley (among others) made the Stadium and turf field a reality. I was also amazed at all the media coverage for this game - a lot of photographers down there, including one with a TRIPOD! (Big No no) . . . and Neil Everett of ESPN and former KGMB sports anchor calling the game in the state-of-the-art booth lol.
