What a wonderful memorable evening with Dr. Kenji Kojima and his newlywed Miki at the Drums of the Pacific Luau at the Hyatt Regency Maui. Madelyn has known Kenji's family for almost 20 years, having met their parents when they were staying at the Maui Prince Resort when she worked there at the Front Desk. We went to Yokohama in February 2019 to attend Kenji's wedding. Kenji, who is a neurosurgeon in Tokyo, and Miki, who is a nurse, didn't get a proper honeymoon as they had to go back to work right after the wedding! When we learned they were coming to Maui for a belated, well-deserved honeymoon, we had the opportunity to take them to one of Maui's premier Luau.
