David almost took down Goliath in the 12U Boys Championship game of the Maui Summer Classic between Kaba Hoops of Garden Grove, CA and Lahaina Select. Lahaina seemed poised for an upset after building sizeable leads in the first and second quarter of the game. But the deadly three-point shooting and intense full-court pressure defense from Kaba Hoops eventually took over as Kaba Hoops won the game 57-37. I understand the Lahaina Select team was the first Maui team to ever make it to the finals of the Maui Summer Classic 12U Division. Congrats to the players, coaches and families.
