Stop #3 of my 8 hours of Lahainaluna sports coverage took me back to Wailuku, specifically War Memorial Stadium for the Kamakea Track Meet. However, heavy rain and thunder/lightning triggered mandatory delays at the start of the meet. I pulled into the parking lot to the scene of track athletes from all schools hanging out in the parking lot and by the stadium waiting for the 2nd lightning delay to expire. Sneaked in some candid shots of the Lunas as they waited. Ultimately, the meet was cancelled. [Nikon Z9, Nikon Z 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6]
