The Lunas improve to 2-0 in the MIL with a 34-9 win over Baldwin. A heavy downpour dumped on us at the end of the alma mater through the first few minutes of the first quarter, making picture-taking quite challenging lol. Lahainaluna started off slow and overcame a 0-6 deficit in the first quarter for the win. Kalae Storer came on as QB in the second quarter and his passing helped the Lunas get into a rhythm offensively. Hopefully we can improve our red zone efficiency as several drives deep in Baldwin territory came up empty, with 3 missed field goals. Baldwin's scoring came off a recovered fumble in our end zone for a touchdown and then an interception on the first play of the second half which resulted in a field goal. Lunas continue to improve on forcing turnovers, with at least 4 interceptions and a couple of fumble recoveries.
