D2 Football State Champion Lahainaluna, State Cheerleading Champion Baldwin and Maui High's Cross-Country Boys (3 finishers in the top 4) were among the youth groups recognized by Mayor Mike Victorino during a Christmas celebration/tree lighting on the front lawn of the County Building. Following the ceremonies, there was a short parade up High Street, down Main Street, and ending on Market Street for Wailuku First Friday.
