When I walked into Shine Matsui Gym on the campus of Maui High, the JV Lady Lunas were already down 8-17 in the first set! Luckily, their good luck charm arrived and the girls proceeded to go on a 13-1 run to win the first set 21-18 behind the stellar service game of Malika Viela and Kailani Medeiros-Sodetani. The Lunas took the second set 21-13, but dropped the third set 10-15.
