After shooting track & field and baseball, I drove up to Pukalani to hopefully catch a set or two of Lahainaluna volleyball. I was not disappointed. If you haven't seen this season's incarnation of the team, you really need to come support and watch them play. They play hard, they fly all over the court, they hit hard and often. They are so fun to watch, especially when Aukai Kama finally gets some playing time with a few key players out. To his credit, he does not sulk when he doesn't play and is always up, cheering and supporting his teammates. Best of all, when he is called in to play, he gives it 150% and then some! His post-kill/post-block celebrations are a sight to behold. It was worth the drive up the mountain, even though I missed the first two and a half sets lol. Lunas win in 4.
