After checking-in at the cafeteria and getting something to eat, the first top secret destination was the Sheraton Maui for some fun, games and dancing with DJ Ron and the Hammah House Band. The Class of 2023 partied the night away until about 3am when they headed to their final destination - Slappy Cakes. By then, your photographer was in a state of semi-consciousness. Who wants photos of sleepy graduates? Shooting in near pitch black conditions but for random colored flashing lights was challenging to shoot without a flash (I didn't want to annoy/blind the graduates).
