Action from Lahainaluna’s 52-51 loss to Maui High on OC16. The Lady Lunas were led by Ledjan Pahukoa’s 21 points, including 9 in the 4th quarter. The Lady Lunas found themselves down 44-48 with 1:29 left. But Mary Pahukoa hit two lay-ups to tie the game at 48-all. After Maui High took a 50-48 lead, Ledjan Pahukoa hit a 3-pointer from well beyond the 3-point arc to give the Lunas a 51-50 lead. The Lady Lunas looked to ice the game but a bad-inbound pass gave the ball back to Maui High. Maui High raced the ball back for the final shot.
