Action from the opener of a twi-night doubleheader between the Lahainaluna and Molokai tennis teams. Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the HHSAA had mandated that all interscholastic events be suspended beginning Monday, March 16, 2020. However, with the County of Maui deciding to close its park facilities beginning Saturday, March 15, 2020, all sporting events scheduled for Saturday were effectively cancelled. As such, the Lunas and Farmers agreed to play Saturday's matches after the conclusion of Friday's matches. It was bittersweet as while the Lunas won both head-to-head team matches, a promising season for a young but eager Lunas' tennis team is cut short.
