The Lunas’ special teams came up big, with two blocked punts (Kahi Magno, resulting in a safety and Ikaika Gonzales, who recovered it for a touchdown). Kaulana TIhada led the way with 72 yards rushing on 11 attempts. Lyrik Kahula was 10-16 for 105 yards and 2 TD. Lunas had held the Sabers’ offense in check for most of the night until Maui High scored with 2:12 left in the game against the 2nd string (and some first stringers).
