Action from Lahainaluna's 26-9 win over Maui High. The first half was a hard-hitting defensive struggle. Maui High struck early, blocking a punt deep in Lahainaluna territory. The Lunas defense was able to hold Maui High to a field goal. The Lunas were able to tie it up 3-3 on a field goal by Anatello Flores with 5 seconds left in the half.

A safety with 5 minutes left in the third-quarter tipped the momentum in Lahainaluna's favor as they took the lead 5-3. The Lunas opened up the playbook with a fake punt that resulted in a long pass completion from QB/Punter Noa Gordon to Noah Arase for a first down. Gordon finally punched it in from the one yard line on 4th down to make it 12-3. The Lunas then made it 19-3 on a 16 yard run from Ian Cabanilla. This was set up by a long completion from Noa Gordon to another Noah - Noah Garcia. Maui High battled back to score a touchdown to make it 12-9, but failed to convert the two-point conversion thanks to LJ Morikawa busting up the play up the middle. The Lunas immediately snatched the momentum back their way a few plays later, when Noa Gordon connected with Noah Garcia again on another deep post route, this time resulting in a 50-yard plus touchdown to make it 26-9.
