Late inning action between the A's and Royals. Due to dark conditions, I shot with my Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 lens paired with my Nikon D3. In hindsight, should've gone with the Nikon Z6 due to its superior performance in low light conditions and better quality photos with high ISO as compared to the 15 year old D3 model. After shooting baseball and softball with either my super telephoto Sigma 60-600mm f/4.5-6.3 or the Sony RX10MkIV 24-600 f2.4-4, the limitations of the 200mm maximum reach of the 70-200 was quite evident. Had to switch the D3 to crop mode to try to increase the reach. The 600mm really allowed me to get some great close-up and tight shots on the players. Guess I gotta buss out the Nikon 400mm f2.8 next time!
