The Lunas completed their second straight undefeated MIL season (8-0, 17th straight MIL win) with a 21-0 win over MIL Division I champion Maui High. This was a defensive battle, with the Lunas scoring on a touchdown pass from Sione Filikitonga to Scott-Isaac Medeiros-Tangatailoa, a fumble recovery in the end zone by Ryan Delatori, and an electrifying 87 yard touchdown run from Sione Filikitonga to put the game out of reach in the 4th quarter.
