Congratulations to the MIL Champion Lahainaluna Lady Lunas water polo team! They defeated Baldwin 9-7 to capture the overall MIL Water Polo Championship! In addition to getting the higher seed and a bye to the HHSAA State tournament, the team also earned a bar on the "L"! Zaniness reigned as the Lady Lunas celebrated their hard-earned MIL Water Polo championship by dumping their coaches in the pool (seasoned-veteran Bradley Mason did the honors of taking off his shoes and throwing himself into the pool lol) while a couple of anonymous supporters did the Worm on the pool deck. First MIL water polo championship for the Lunas since 2016! Congratulations to Puliki Rogers, Maile Cacal, Mia Kosianowski, Tara Zamani, Healani Kanekoa, Alissa Skolnick, Anuhea Naki, Anastasia Morris, Jordan Gomez, Maurii Niles, Zhi Clark, Coach John Hassett, and Assistant Coaches Bradley Mason and Courtney Galarita.
