Steady rain
630am walk to St. Patrick’s Cathedral on 5th
Luckily a dude with an umbrella cart showed up out of nowhere - $5 umbrella
Beautiful church – no singing, very fast service (1/2 hour)
Walk back via Rockerfella Plaza
Junior’s Bakery to grab a cheesecake
Madelyn check out and bring bags down while I walk to Alamo to pick up the car
Hard to find Alamo – no signage on the building and it was on the opposite side of the street
Instead of full-size, they offered a Chevy Tahoe! It only had ½ tank and could return empty. Sweet!
Couldn’t figure out how to turn on wipers
Picked up Madelyn
Just got onto the 9A Joe DiMaggio Highway towards Harlem when I realized I did not have the EZ TOLL
Had to go back to Alamo to pick up – road bump
Made it to Harlem.
Lucked out and found parking by entrance to Rucker Park.
Rainy and wet but got some shots. Swished the first two on the chain link nets
Drive down to Philadelphia avoiding tolls

Put in $20 gas in Jersey City just in case

Crazy traffic situation – Broad Street Run in the morning, Phillies game at 2pm and Sixers game at 3:30pm
Lucked out. Got there at 2pm and found parking real close to the arena

No time to find the Dr. J statute
Entered via the Cadillac Grille access
Returned shirt at the 76er store
Shopped at the bigger New Era store
Got a Stub Hub ticket souvenir
Grabbed a pizza, hot dog and souvenir soda
Section 106, Row 10, Seats 1-2 (aisle!) Great seats again
Free rally towels
Ate my hot dog and some pizza.
Not as motivated to take pictures – so tired
Game was good, but not the same energy in the building as on Thursday

Game was tied with under 2 minutes left, but no answers for Kawhi Leonard
Fight in the stands (in our former seats no less) between Toronto clad jihadists and a fat white guy in a Julius Erving jersey
Bought a #1 foam finger on the way out
Pouring rain outside at 600pm But I gotta get my photo with Dr. J statue. Luckily it was the first statute at the Xfinity building.
Back to the Tahoe to dry up and get out of our wet jackets
Warm up the Tahoe and get ready for a long drive back in the rain
White out conditions. Bumper to bumper for several miles leaving Philadelphia
Decided to go with the tolls for a more direct drive on the I-95
Essentially stayed on the I-95, to the George Washington Bridge, to the Trough Necks Bridge and then Queens
Arrived 9:45pm. $30 parking or find street parking. Too tired for that.
Ate at the Bistro. Burger and chicken pot pie.
Dried our stuff in the hotel dryer.
Nice, clean, modern rooms. Thank God for Marriott Courtyard
