Shots from Lahainaluna's 0-4 loss to Maui High on Good Friday. As the season winds down, it was all about shooting from different angles. Using my Nikon 200-400mm f/4, I started shooting from the stands through the net directly behind home plate and then down the 3rd base line. My brain must've been on holiday because I forgot to check the battery levels on my cameras (which were both down to 10%) and to my horror, I left the spare batteries in my other bag. So I went home real quick to grab spare batteries and a 70-200mm f/2.8. When I came back, it was already in the 5th inning. This time, I shot from inside the dugout for the first time ever! (Mahalo Coaches!) It was pretty cool! The dugout itself is below ground level, so i got to shoot pretty low - which I love. Got to take photos without worrying about obstructing someone's view.
