The Lunas were handed their first loss in a tough game against Baldwin, 38-35. The Bears were the aggressors early on, controlling the boards and creating turnovers. Lunas could not get on track on offense en route to being down 20-11 at the half. The Lunas chipped away in the second half and mounted a rally in the final 2 minutes of the game, but fell short. The Lunas, playing without senior captain Kalalani Kaaikala, were led by Jerami Santos with 7 pts and Gage Johnson and Tavake Faleta had 5 apiece. Sam Balantac Jr. was a beast inside for the Bears with 11 points.
