After Kivah Caballero's incredible last second win at Girls 122, there were no more Lunas left so I packed up my stuff and headed for the podium to get shots of Kivah and her family, as well as the rest of the Lahainaluna Wrestling team. The Girls settled for second place in the team standings - a finish to be proud of. [Nikon D750, Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8]

Side Story: Unfortunately, I didn't get out of the Cannon Activities Center until 10:05 p.m. and there was no way I would get to Arby's in Waipahu before they closed at 11pm. So I headed straight for town, behind a caravan of cars from the wrestling match going an insane 35 mph on Kamehameha Highway, before branching off to the Likelike where I was able to gun my Toyota Prius hybrid to a max 60 mph lol. I should've peed before leaving the arena in Laie, because by the time I hit the Pali, I made the executive decision to go to the Hawaii Prince first where I would guarantee have access to a bathroom in the lobby. After letting my already-sleeping wife know I was safe, I headed back out to grab something to eat. I settled for the Zippy's at McCully, and as fate would have it, as I pulled into the parking lot I saw the Lahainaluna wrestling team coming out of the restaurant. Apparently, they refused to serve them as they closing in about 10 minutes (it was almost midnight). I went in anyway and after asking the cashier what they had left, I got a mini korean chicken plate - my first meal of the day (unless you count the baked manapua, pork hash and rice cake that I devoured while driving from Chinatown to Pearl City to drop off my wife). Just another day shooting HHSAA State championship events on Oahu.
