No words. Still cannot believe what has become of our Lahaina. Without people, the homes, the buildings, the trees, the vibrancy, the history . . . just the merciless afternoon sun and devastation. I will miss the Lahaina that literally was my world until I left for college and the Lahaina that continued to shape and influence who I am today. Lahaina was my touchstone - my home base to ground me and remind me who I am and where I came from. I am hopeful that the new Lahaina will be respectful to Lahaina's history and its people.
