After catching JaDine's concerts in Escondido (San Diego) and Glendale (Los Angeles) the week before, I flew back to to Las Vegas to catch the final stop of the Always JaDine US Tour at the Tropicana. Went into full paparazzi mode, figuring out what flight they would be arriving on from Houston, where they had a concert the night before. Sure enough, I got them at the Southwest baggage claim at 7am! What a brutal tour schedule they had! For the concert, I had a great seat this time, right up onstage left, thanks to co-promoter Lyn Ainsworth. Originally, my wife was gonna stay home - could we really afford to fly out to the Continent one more time just a week after being in Southern California? YOLO got the best of us and Madelyn took up my offer at the last minute to join me, but she sat at another table lol. That's okay . . . I had a concert to shoot! My seat in relation to the stage offered a different vantage point from my previous concerts. Unfortunately, I did not get many frontal shots of them side by side, including the key points of the OJD challenge and the lyrical dance as my vantage point was directly parallel to them. However, I loved that I was able to get a different angle of their performance from what I got previously, and I was getting shots of the crowd in the background, as well as not having to deal directly with any harsh spotlight issues or backlighting from the big screen. I even got to have some of my photos published in the concert program and I got their autographs, too
