At the beginning of the season, there was hope that Lahainaluna would be celebrating their homecoming on Saturday, October 18th at their new stadium, but construction delays then the threat of "Hurricane" Ana forced the game to War Memorial Stadium on Friday, October 17th. Nevertheless, Lahaina town and Mr. Fillazar showed up to celebrate Homecoming and to honor the dozens of senior football players, managers, student trainers, cheerleaders and band members in their last "home" football game.
